About Proveana

The Proveana database documents and prepares the results of research projects funded by the Foundation as well as information on the Gurlitt art trove for victims whose cultural goods were seized, researchers, persons affected and interested parties.

The information contained in Proveana is entered into the database on the basis of the research reports and, if necessary, updated with further information and structurally adapted. Scientific guiding principles apply to the publication of the information.
