The research report is the work of the named author. The German Lost Art Foundation does not undertake any substantive verification of the content, whether in the context of provenance research or by way of editorial revision. Responsibility for the content of the research report lies with the named recipient of funding from the German Lost Art Foundation. 

A research report reflects the state of knowledge at the time the respective project was completed. Due to the limited scope of the research topic defined by the respective funding project, a research report cannot claim to be exhaustive. The quality of the research reports may vary, which is inevitable given the different starting points and approaches of the individual projects. The factual situation may have changed since the time a research report was written due to revised and updated sources (e.g. newly discovered and/or newly accessible sources).
